    We have had our Cali Bamboo Java tongue and groove flooring for two years now and are disappointed. We chose Cali Bamboo flooring for our current home because we had installed tongue and groove bamboo flooring in our first home, and loved it; we wanted to recreate the look and durability of it in our current home.     Beautiful flooring... that never looks clean

    The flooring is just simply beautiful and seems pretty durable so far. I also love that it's made of bamboo (seems more eco-friendly) and low VOC. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it so easily shows any kind of dirt or shoe print. We have a dog and a young child so got this floor to be able to withstand that but no matter how often we sweep and mop, 2 seconds later you can easily spot a footprint or paw print or smudge, which takes away from the flooring's beauty.     There is strong smell coming from the flooring

    I installed it in a bedroom and it looks good, but there is a strong smell coming from the flooring. I tried cleaning the flooring with some Clorox wipes, but even after letting the flooring sit with the window open, I still get a strong smell when I enter the room. I would describe the smell like a newspaper ink smell.

    Bad chemical smell, I couldn't stand it.

    The bamboo material is in the chemical coating. I tried to clean off the surface to see if the smell goes away, I couldn't stand the strong smell. The product is advertised as a low VOC product. But it made my whole house stink. I had to rip out the floor, the smell was so bad.

    Save your money!!!

    Would Not Recommend

    We installed 1700 sq foot of this flooring in a new construction home. Followed all the guidelines. It has been installed for 60 days, and we would have been better off to have stained the subfloor versus using this product. It scratches by just looking at it. Currently, the finish is flaking off in sections. I am not pleased with this product and I do not recommend anyone to use it! If this is supposed to be scratch resistant, I am not seeing it.     Beautiful and durable

    Would Recommend

    I love this floor! We have pets and every other floor has scratched. We put this in about a year ago. There is not one scratch. It has held up to spills as well. We are buying a new house and this will be a must for the first thing to do. It was also very easy to lay and we had no waste.
