Yes, when done correctly. We use precision tacking and professional stretching methods that secure the runner without damaging the hardwood treads underneath. If the runner is ever removed, the hardwood beneath remains refinishable and intact.
It depends on the design intent and the condition of the hardwood. If the treads are beautiful and you want them visible, a runner adds safety and style while showcasing the wood. If the stairs need concealing or maximum noise reduction, wall-to-wall is the better choice. We help you decide during the consultation.
Yes. We handle full tear-out and disposal of existing carpet, pad, tack strips and staples as part of our installation service. The subfloor is cleaned and prepped before any new material is laid.
