While no process is 100% dust-free, our containment methods are dramatically cleaner than traditional sanding. We also hang specialized barriers to seal off your workspace from the rest of your home.
In most cases, yes. Our dust-control systems and environmental barriers minimize disruption to your daily life. However, we recommend staying off the newly finished floors for 24 to 48 hours during the curing process. We'll provide a clear, detailed timeline during your consultation.
A typical refinishing project takes 3 to 5 days including sanding, staining (if applicable), and two to three coats of finish with curing time between each coat. Larger homes or floors requiring significant repair may take longer. We never rush the curing process.
Yes as long as the wear layer is 2mm or greater, most engineered floors can be refinished one to three times. We always assess the wear layer thickness before recommending any sanding, because once it's gone, it's gone.
