Project Spotlight: Livonia, MI
Livonia Subfloor Leveling
Mastic Encapsulation and Custom Hickory Hardwood
Bypassing hazardous mastic grinding with advanced chemical bonding primers and engineered underlayment.
Project Overview
The Blueprint: Prime, Pour, Perfect.
The Challenge
A concrete slab covered in old, stubborn mastic. Mechanically grinding this mastic off is hazardous, dusty, and incredibly time-consuming.
The Solution
Instead of grinding, we engineered a smarter encapsulation method. We applied a highly specialized primer scientifically rated to bond directly to the existing mastic.
The Technology
Over the primed mastic, we poured an engineered self-leveling underlayment. This permanently encapsulated the old adhesive and created a pristine slate for the new floor.
The Engineering Process
Chemical Bonding & Encapsulation.
